At Equip-It we aim to provide a professional festival equipment service at a reasonable price. We have staging, PA systems and various other essential equipment for events.

We can provide the equipment you need to put on a show – for indoor and outdoor events. We can set up equipment suitable for bands, dance groups, celebrations and public meetings. We are very flexible and have equipment that can cater for anything from a small meeting to a larger event of up to 700 people.

We work alongside organisations within Barnet to help them with the technical and equipment side of putting on their event. We are a not-for-profit community enterprise and prioritise serving community focused activities. Our team consists of trained professional technicians and local young people who we are mentoring into work.

The team has many years of experience and can provide advice and guidance for your event as well as giving a professional and safety conscious service.

We offer a PAT testing service with our fully qualified and trained PAT testers.

We can test anything from 1 item up to a large office complex. We do not have a minimum amount and so can help organisations who only have a small number of goods to test. We offer a professional and courteous service and aim to cause the minimum disruption possible. The testing of items is through to ensure safety and compliance, with a dated sticker put on each item.

We also provide an asset register and printed certificate of compliance for any job with more than 25 items tested.

Prices for testing are: 0 to 25 items £2.50 per item. 26 to 100 items £1.50 per item. For larger contracts please call for a price.

Below are a list of the different packages Equip-it can offer, Please note this is a starting point and each package is flexible and can be adapted for your event.

 

PACKAGE 1

Small sound system for indoor use for up to 200 people

Supplied with:

  • Speakers and amplifier (1.3k)
  • DJ CD mixer with iPod connection
  • 4 microphones plus 1 radio microphone and stage monitor speaker if needed

We normally stay and run the sound system for you but if a competent person is present we can show them through the equipment and leave them to run the event.

 

PACKAGE 2

Medium event indoor or outdoor for up to 250 people

Supplied with:

  • Sound system as package 1 – with up to 8 microphones
  • 16 x 12 foot stage at 40cm height
  • Comes with optional generator so we can run independent of mains supply

 

PACKAGE 3

Larger outdoor event for a stage audience of up to 500 people

  • Speakers and amplifier (2.5k)
  • DJ CD mixer with iPod connection
  • 16 Channel mixing desk, microphones plus 1 radio microphone and monitor speakers
  • 20 x 16 foot stage at 40cm height
  • Comes with optional generator so we can run independent of mains supply

 

PACKAGE 4

Larger outdoor event for a stage audience of up to 500 people

  • Speakers and amplifier (2.5k)
  • Covered large stage up to 24 x16 foot at 1 metre height with handrails
  • Canopy to protect against the weather
  • We can also put in a back stage area or enclosed changing area
  • Comes with optional generator so we can run independent of mains supply

 

Each package is flexible and can be adapted for your event.

We also supply fire extinguishers, walkie-talkies, projectors and floodlights.
